The best thing to happen to me in a long time.

Most, if not all of you who read this blog, know that I am oddly allergic to sesame and sesame products (including oil), despite being, well, Asian. Recently, Ilya brought home this product from my new favorite grocery store, Trader Joe's.

Since then, I have been eating hummus non-stop. Yesterday, I bought pita bread and experienced that snack that people used to wave in my face, laughing cruelly, "hummus and pita! Ha ha! You can't have this!"

Now I can. And I know what I was missing. What a delicious and delightful spread!

People fish in the East River every day, just off Market Slip, near my apartment building. These days, they have some art to admire across the way.
